A Bit Of Bragging

Reviews

Free Fall Editorial Review:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Free Fall is a well-written novel full of intriguing, psychologically complex characters who keep you guessing. The plot is excellently managed and laid out to make for exciting reading; it is a page turner. The brilliance comes from the character development. The characters are well constructed and layered with subtle personality traits which add an element to the novel that a reader doesn’t ordinarily find in a suspense thriller. It is not surprising that the author is a psychotherapist. Free Fall is a rewarding read. – Midwest Book Review

What readers say about Free Fall:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Edge of your seat spellbinding read. She’s done it again. Atwood has crafted another great thriller. Just like her previous book Unlikely Return, here’s another page turner that is filled with excitement, danger, intrigue, a hint of sex, broken trust and an ample supply of twists and turns that will keep you glued to the story. It reads like a who-done-it that even Hitchcock would love. Atwood has a wonderful knack of writing gripping mysteries that we crave, like watching a good old-fashioned classic mystery movie. Sherlock Holmes would love to read Free Fall on his Hawaiian vacation!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Free Fall is an absolute “must read”. A deft, fascinating page turner that combines mystery, romance, and psychological profiling……who could ask for more?  The characters are well defined and interesting… they will hold YOUR interest from beginning to end.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good read should have layers that keep pulling you into the story, and the more the better. [This book has] emotional depth that made you love some of the characters, mistrust some, and a few…dislike for who they are at their core. But isn’t that what a master storyteller does? Your emotions are hitched like a trailer on a truck, swaying with each wild curve of new intrigue that Atwood introduces. I highly recommend this book if you love rich character development, suspense, and intrigue!

Unlikely Return editorial reviews:

Unlikely Return is an insightful slow burner of a book which I relished sinking my teeth into! It is an effortlessly stirring expression of the complexities of human relationships, extremely cognizant of human emotion and how one’s sense of self is deeply influenced by one’s formative years. It stirs empathy within the reader and explores a wealth of different perspectives that make for fantastic characterization.
– Love Reading, U.K.

A finely constructed and meticulously researched, emotionally accurate tale of survival and soul-searching. This is as much a fascinating, action-packed account of survival on the open seas and a deserted island as it’s a story of love, family ties, second chances, and self-discovery.
